We don’t know where to start, so we will just come out and say it as clearly as we can, Susan is an amazing real estate agent, even more simply, she is an amazing person. She is genuine, caring, honest, capable, knowledgeable, hardworking, attentive, involved, experienced, and just generally all around amazing. We recently bought and sold homes with Susan and from start to finish the process was so incredible. Throughout the entire process Susan made herself available for questions and discussion 24/7. When we prepared our offer, she made sure we understood each piece of it, the down payment, the insurance, the taxes, the closing costs, and how each piece impacted our offer in the eyes of the sellers. Likewise in selling our home she was thoughtful on listing, staging, showings, pictures, clutter, etc. and ultimately sold our home in a weekend and coordinated the buying/selling closings perfectly so that our transition was stress free, organized, and calm. We wish Susan continued success and recommend her to all our friends and neighbors. She is so knowledgeable, sincere, and caring and it shows in every bit of her work. Thank you, SH! Susan and Irina are an amazing team! They guided us through the entire process of buying/selling and always had our best interest in mind. When our initial deal fell through unexpectedly, they managed to relist and bring in multiple (better!) offers within a week’s time. Susan is also a stellar negotiator and provided excellent advice in helping us choose the right buyer for our home. We worked with Irina to find our new home and she is truly the best. Susan Horowitz is more than a real estate agent. She is a multifaceted fixer of all problems. My house should have gone on the market the first week of the pandemic shutdown of New Jersey. The shutdown made this impossible, but I had already moved out and rendered myself car-less. Susan took charge of all the problems this caused. She baby-sat my house for months, calling in repair people when needed. As soon as the market began reviving, she was ready. First, she virtually staged the house. Then, she physically staged the house. Her expertise triggered two above-offering price bids. When closing was delayed for months, she kept on top of each shift in circumstances.

If there was such a thing as Realtor Jedi Master, Susan would be it. We worked with Susan as both buyers and sellers and in each situation she took the time to understand what was unique about us and our needs (which were super-weird and specific in some cases) and always tailored her selections and advice for them. One of my favorite things about Susan and her team is that they know everybody in the area. If you need help with something or need to hire someone, they know exactly who to go to every time. And if you're like us and are planning on spending a good amount of time looking for the right place, Susan is ideal because she's just a cool person all around, so the time you'll spend with her is fun as well as effective. STOP YOUR SEARCH FOR AN AGENT!!! Susan is quite simply without equal as a real estate agent. My wife and I hired Susan after our very first conversation with her. What stood out to me immediately was how easy she is to speak to, no awkwardness and very honest. I had read other reviews, which said that Susan always made her clients feel like they were her sole focus, but thought maybe these were just the words of people who got a good price on the sale or purchase of their home. But these sentiments couldn’t have been anymore spot on. We hired Susan to both find us a new home, and to sell our existing home. Over that several month period, it truly felt like we were Susan’s only clients. She always made time for us and responded immediately to our calls, texts, and emails - which were numerous to say the least. Amazingly, while buying and selling a home at the same time can be a very stressful process, Susan made everything easier. She coordinated every aspect and every detail in both transactions - leaving us only to focus on our move. What’s also incredible about Susan and her team is their level of experience and knowledge - she seems to know every possible contractor, inspector, or any other person you may need in the moving process. She coordinated inspections, repairs and even handled every aspect of the process of helping us get our house into the best shape for showings. In terms of the sale, Susan started by providing us with a comprehensive overview of the market and providing us with an honest assessment of the best possible listing price. She helped us get our house in the perfect shape for showing and ultimately provided us with incredible guidance in terms of when we wanted to put our house on the market to get the best price. All in all, she made this part of the process about as easy as one could hope. However, while making a process easy is nice, Susan’s expertise really showed through in the end result... she really hit it of the park. Susan was available at any time of day or night responding to our calls and texts and helped us relax in an otherwise incredibly stressful situation. Quite simply, Susan’s service and representation is incomparable. She is such an expert and makes one of the most stressful processes in life so much easier. The best part of the whole experience is that beyond having an agent, with Susan one truly feels that they have a very good friend helping them through this process.

We were so impressed with Susan that we not only bought a house when we weren't seriously looking, we called her almost 8 years later when we found out we were being transferred for work and needed to move out of state within three months. Both times, she advised us honestly, recommended people to help us through the process, and basically held our hand every step of the way. When we called her in March and told her we needed to be in a different state by June 1st, she promised that if we followed her advice, we could do it. They advised us what updates to make, recommended workers for work we wanted to do, staged the house, and (as promised) had one open house weekend that resulted in three over-asking offers by that Tuesday. There honestly isn't enough I could possibly say about the quality of service she gives. If you're not using her, you're missing out on not only great service, but an overall great person!

Best Selling Agent!! We recently sold our house in Bloomfield with Susan as our selling agent. She really made the process less stressful and was very responsive in every step of the way. We are moving overseas so we had a hard deadline when we would like the house sold and closed. She staged the house very well and brought out the best features of the house as the key selling points. We had only one open house over one weekend and received multiple offers. She was always ready to assist during the inspection as well. We unexpectedly found out we had an oil tank that we had to remove. She quickly got us in touch with a company that can remove it for us. On the day of tank removal, she came multiple times to check in and made sure the process went smoothly. We also had difficult negotiations with the buyer and Susan's advice during this period was very invaluable. We relied heavily on her knowledge to guide us. She stayed with the facts and never pressure us to make a decision that we didn't feel comfortable with. Thanks to her experience and knowledge, we closed as scheduled and can now move to our new place with a peace of mind.
